If a race is decided in a bunch sprint the riders of a team form up in the lead in order to bring their strongest sprinter into the best possible position for the final sprint. On the last kilometers of the race the team keeps the speed in the fore very high. The riders take turn in the lead and then drop back, so the sprint specialist is in the front on the last meters of the home stretch.
