Roundabout
Or “Belgian Roundabout” - riding in formation with a constant change of leader in order to achieve as economical a style of riding as possible in (severely) windy conditions. In so doing, the rider previously at the head of the group cycling against the wind moves out to the side protected from the wind to the back of the formation for a quick breather in his colleagues’ slipstream before returning to the front for a short spell. As such, the group is constantly circulating in a roundabout manner.
