Intermediate Sprint
 For almost 20 years now, professional cyclists have been changing gear with great precision thanks to the perfect coordination of the shift unit, chain drive shift and gear lever components. Gear levers have been integrated with the brake levers since the early 1990s. Various prototype electronic transmissions have been designed, but the classic steel gear cable will continue to be used until they come into production.
