20/01/2025

Under the motto „everything is new – everything will be different“, the new Team Milram was introduced in Dortmund on January 07, 2009. Also what is new are the Team Milram’s racing bikes. What is also unique: a German professional team in the highest category rides with German racing bikes! That was never the case before. The cyclists are also enthusiastic about their bike. “I am positively surprised at the street bike. FOCUS is not a brand that has been long in the racing bike scene which the riders have, so-to-say, licked their fingers. This will change however now. I think that these are the best bikes momentarily in the market”, such said Linus Gerdemann during the team presentation.

Already since years FOCUS has constructed bicycles from athletes for athletes. Balanced geometries which are not only suitable for the racing sport and excellent stiffness values (adjusted for each size) are shown; they are only two arguments which distinguish the FOCUS racing bikes. The SSPS (stable stiffness per size) which guarantees each frame the same stiffness, is a milestone in the frame construction. Only so is guaranteed that each cyclist of the Team Milram gets the same experience on his racing bike. This is an unbeatable argument for the pros.
Additionally each individual bike of the team undergoes careful tests before the delivery from FOCUS: safety, slight weight and the racing sport exclude all traces of doubt. This has been possible because the engineers at FOCUS who control the complete product development in Germany an use for this top-grade “high-modular carbon”. Thus, in this way, the three Team Milram racing bikes (Izalco, Mares and Izalco Chrono) leave no wishes unfulfilled.

The new work unit of the Milram pro Paul Voss captivates not only through its extravagant design. The cross-country racing cycles distinguish themselves above all in regard to performance, fastness an technical detail solutions. The Cyclocross bikes FOCUS Mares Team Milram do not only have stiff, light and form-attractive carbon frames in the Monoco construction method, but set themselves apart also through nippy and manuverable riding characteristics. The full-carbon fork combines additionally slight weight and a high steering exactness with a trace of comfort. The newest RED shifting technology from the company SRAM offers 20 shifting speeds which are powered by a FSA SLK light crank set including internal bearings. The fine Easton Cosmic SLR-wheels pave the way through each underground thanks to the new cross tubular tires from Continental. The FOCUS Cross Team is convincing due to many further refinements and is available in different frame hights from 52 to 60cm.
