<description>12/11/2008: Only four points and one lap were missing:  In his last appearance at the Munich Six Day Race, MILRAM's Erik Zabel only barely missed out on his fifth win.  Together with his partner Leif Lampater, with whom he won the Six Day race in Dortmund last week, he had to finish second in the finale behind Robert Bartko and Belgian Iljo Keisse.

<item><title>Leading going into the finale</title>
<description>11/11/2008: Erik Zabel and Leif Lampeter are in the lead going into the finale.  The MILRAM rider and hs parter took back the leaders' yellow jersey from the German-Belgian pair of Robert Barko/Iljo Keisse Monday evening. 

But Bartko/Keisse still have good chances and could prevent Zabel's fifth win in Munich, as they are only eight points back.  Also in the same round are Olaf Pollack and Roger Kluge.  One lap down are the teams of Alex Rasmussen/Michael Morkov and Bruno Risi/Peter ...</description>

<item><title>Bartko/Keisse take back the lead </title>
<description>10/11/2008: On the fourth day of the Munich Six Days race, Robert Bartko and his Belgian partner Iljo Keisse took back the lead.  MILRAM's Erik Zabel, who together with his partner  Leif Lampater was in the lead after Saturday night, fell back into fifth place.

<item><title>Zabel/Lampater take the lead</title>
<description>09/11/2008: Erik Zabel and Leif Lampater have taken over the lead halfway through the Munich Six-Days race and are aiming for another win to add to the one from Dortmund.  Both won the big chase Saturday evening in the Munich Olympic Hall and took over the lead from Bruno Risi/Peter Schep (Switzerland/Netherlands).  Both teams are in the same lap.

One lap down, the Danish team  Alex Rasmussen/Michael Morkov is ahead of Robert Bartko/Iljo Keisse and Olaf Pollack/Roger Kluge.

<description>08/11/2008: Things continue to be tight at the Munich Six-Days race.  Robert Bartko and his Belgian partner Iljo Keisse were able to defend their lead, but there are four other teams in the same lap. <description>07/11/2008: Erik Zabel and Leif Lampater are keeping up their good work in the 45th Munich Six Days Race.  After the first night in the Olympic Hall, the duo with the MILRAM rider was in third place, in the same lap as leaders Robert Bartko/Iljo Keisse (Ger/Bel) and the second-place German team of Olaf Pollack/Roger Kluge.
