Erik Zabel's last road race in Germany

MILRAM captain Erik Zabel will ride the Sparkassen Münsterland Giro (UCI 1.1) on the Day of German Unity, October 3, as his last road race in Germany as a pro cyclist. The 38-year old will be supported on the 204 kilometers from Bocholt to Münster by fellow Germans Christian Knees, Ralf Grabsch, Dennis Haueisen, Christian Kux and Sebastian Schwager, as well as stagiaires Mitja Schlüter and Arne Hassink of the Netherlands.
